Giving Women and Their Families a Bright Future Through Education

The mission of the Dominican Literacy Center is to help women learn to read, write and speak English within an atmosphere of mutual respect and dignity.  Through the generosity of trained volunteer tutors, immigrant women learn to communicate in English and to be a formative influence in their families and a strong participant in their neighborhoods, churches, workplaces and communities.
